And we’re back on track with weddings, just finishing up Tina’s bridal bouquet (seen above), using the flowers below. The snow is melting fast, the rivers are rising, and the summer crowds haven’t shown up yet. Spring in the mountains is a great time to plan a wedding.

Sungina’s Bouquet // A bridal bouquet and birdcages with succulents and flowers in Vail, Colorado

This Vintage style bridal bouquet features coral colored spray roses, David Austin blush peach garden roses, mini calla lilies, ivory astilbe and green succulents. Sungina’s theme for her Christian part of her 4 day event was Shabby Chic. Ivory, coral and soft green was the main colors used. The day before, there was a traditional Hindu ceremony with a Mandap.

Birdcages, flowers and succulents were used in the reception centerpieces.

Chairs used the night before on the Mandap were reused for the sweetheart table.

A new Mandap and ceremony flowers for a wedding in Vail, Colorado

This was the first day of two days of a wedding ceremony celebrations in the Vail Valley. The first day was to be a traditional Hindu ceremony outside. The weather forecast did not cooperate with that. The ceremony was moved inside.

The ceremony was supposed to be outside, but there was a big storm coming in. Below is an image of Lionshead Village, where I went to have dinner before going back to the venue to disassemble the Mandap. Over 13″ came down that night.

Spring flowers arrive in Breckenridge, Colorado //

What do spring flowers look like in Breckenridge? Well, they come in boxes this time of year, as April is one of the snowiest months of the ski season. As I write this, the snow is coming in, and there’s a wedding this weekend, so winter weddings are still happening in the high country. But, that’s why clients chose to work with us, as we’re experienced in ordering flowers from trusted suppliers who will help us source the best blooms available. The following flowers are recent visitors in our shop, and were used in local deliveries.

Winter weddings can have a pop of bold color can do a lot against a stark white background. Here’s a collection of images from Brittney’s wedding, where she held this mix of purple, white and green flowers. The bridesmaid bouquets were just a bit lighter and had more white than purple.

Winter Wedding at Sevens in Breckenridge, Colorado // Brad + Alissa

What could be more fun than a winter wedding in a ski town? Not much, in my opinion. Sunny skies turned into fresh powder right before Brad and Alissa’s slope side wedding at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Guests were transported from town via gondola to the ceremony and reception venue at the base of Peak 7.

The ceremony used our rental glass and purchased candles, both pillar and floating.

The musician really created an experience for the guests, and had the dance floor packed.

At the end of the night, Brad and Alissa joined Moe Dixon on the dance floor for a private jam session they’re not gonna forget for a long time. We received an email from Alissa a few days later, saying “Hi Dina, we cannot thank you and Stacy enough for all your hard work. The night was more wonderful than I could have ever imagined, thanks to my wedding angels. Our guests cannot stop talking about what a wonderful time they had.”

We’re glad to have been a part of it. Congratulations!

Valentine’s Day is almost here and I spent most of the day getting the shop ready, finishing up cleaning from the weekend’s wedding and rolling full-steam into this one day love fest. Thoughts and Feelings from the Mother of the Bride [Testimonial]
